CHERRIES THROUGH IN FA YOUTH CUP

Posted on: Wed 18 Nov 2009

The Cherries Under 18's won tonight 5-0 at AFC Wimbledon to set up a third round FA Youth Cup tie at the Reebok Stadium against Bolton.

Danny Ings sent in a 30 yard effort that came back off the bar, and Matt Kemble was on hand to net on 12 minutes.  Kemble extended the lead on 52 minutes, latching on to a through ball and showing great strength to hold off a defender before netting.

Wimbledon were reduced to ten men three minutes later when Wellburn was shown a red card.

On 59 minutes, Jaydon Stockley came on to replace Parsons and made it 3-0 ten minutes later.  The Cherries look now to have booked their place in the Third Round as Ings added a fourth.  On 88 minutes, Stockley scored his second of the night.
