A young Cherries side, consisting of players from the under 18 squad, schoolboy Jayden Stockley and trialist from Southampton Gary Preen, went down 2-0 at Bristol City this afternoon.

David Clarkson gave City a 19th minute lead and doubled their advantage when Tim Stephenson put the ball in to his own net.  Despite the defeat, this was a brave effort from such a young side and they could have had some consolation had Jayden Stockley not been denied by a good save.
