YOUNG CHERRIES BEATEN

A youthful Cherries reserve side were no match for Reading at the Reading FC Training Ground.  The only professional that Bournemouth fielded was Joe Partington and he played alongside  trailists defender Curtis Wynter from Coventry, striker Michael Uwezu from Fulham and former Liverpool younsgter Gary Mackay-Steven.

Reading fielded a very experienced side, with former Cherries loanee Alex Pearce scoring two and another former Cherries loan player, Jem Karacan, who was one of the Royals heroes at Liverpool, coming through 90 minutes as he returns from injury.  Shaun Cummings scored a hat trick for Reading.
