AFC BOURNEMOUTH 4 EXETER CITY 0
The Cherries opened their totesport.com account in style in front of a healthy sized crowd at Dean Court as they scored four without reply against Exeter.
After playing most of last season with one of the most inexperienced squads in the league, the Cherries managed to field eight professionals, also giving a run out to French trialist Christian Moulong and Under 16 keeper Ed Tierney.
The last time the Grecians keeper Artur Kryslak faced Bournemouth was on at Burton on the day we gained promotion, and he had a very busy afternoon as the Cherries dominated from the start.
It took just seven minutes for the side to take the lead. Harry Arter was causing problems down the right and he whipped in a cross that Kryslak could only palm in to the path of Jayden Stockley, and he made no mistake.

The only surprise was that it took until the 33rd minute for the lead to be doubled. After a long spell of pressure, Danny Hollands made a chance count with an excellent strike from distance.
After the board went up to show two minutes of time added on, Bournemouth made it three. Josh McQuoid intercepted the ball and unselfishly laid it off for Moulong, who had the simple chance of netting the sides third.

The second half was a similar story with the Cherries creating a host of chances. Bournemouth's schoolboy keeper did well with anything thrown at him and he watched on as Danny Ings completed the scoring on 72 minutes. McQuoid was once again involved as he set up Ings to finish with aplomb.
