Young midfielder who was also captain of the Welsh Under 19 side, and has now stepped up to the Under 21 squad. Joe joined the Cherries youth set up three years ago putting in some excellent performances in the centre of the park. After a number of reserve team appearances, he linked up with the first team and made his debut at Luton and went on to enjoy a number of outings from the bench, the most memorable by far being that at Swansea where he scored the Cherries late equaliser in the dramatic win. Signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2008 and scored his first goal against Bury, his first senior start. Joe has gone on to be an important part of the squad and started his first game of the 09-10 season with a terrific display against Crewe, before going off to link up with the Welsh Under 21 squad. It was a frustrating 2010-11 campaign as Joe was hit by a series of niggling injuries, but impressed in his showings and also served Eastbourne on loan. Joe has had an operation and missed the start of the season and is still sidelined.
