Danny started his career at Chelsea where he was captain of the reserve side. He enjoyed a successful loan spell at Torquay before joining Bournemouth in 2006. A classy midfielder who has the eye for the spectacular goal! His form has attracted the attention of higher league clubs , but rejected the advances to stay at Bournemouth and signed a new deal in the summer of 2010. .Danny missed the start of the promotion season due to a minor operation on a niggling injury, but went on to enjoy an excellent campaign, netting a number of important goals, notably braces in the wins over Rotherham and Notts County.
