CHERRIES IN THE MEDIA

Bradbury will hold his own - Howe
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has backed veteran striker Lee Bradbury to continue performing at right-back for the League Two club.
The Cherries are down on defensive cover, with captain Shaun Cooper sidelined for six months and possible replacement Joel Ward having returned to Portsmouth following his loan spell.
Those absentees, combined with the club's transfer embargo, has left Howe needing to shuffle his players around but he is happy that Bradbury can continue to hold his own in his more defensive role.
"Bradders has done a great job there for us and I'd have no hesitation putting him in there again," he said.
"He knows the position and has never, ever let us down in there. It's a great credit to him that he's managed to transform himself from a centre forward to a right-back.
"He's never moaned - I know he'd prefer to play up front - but he's just got on with it and been a model professional."

Cherries chief eyes bright future
Vice-chairman Jeff Mostyn believes the local make-up of Bournemouth's new board is a key ingredient as the club's new owners look to provide some much-needed stability at Dean Court.
Mostyn has returned to the corridors of power as part of the Murry Group which assumed control of the League Two club last week.
He told the Echo: "I think we bring a feeling of stability that you have got local people now, who all have a passion for the football club and that is different to the previous owners.
"The main difference is that we all have a vested interest in the football club."
Mostyn feels the new personnel provided a good mix of experience and fresh approaches, adding: We have got the experience of Steve (Sly), myself and Adam (Murry), and now you have a breath of fresh air with Eddie Mitchell and Neill (Blake) coming in.
"We have all been together now for a few weeks, we have got a better understanding of each other and how we complement each other and how we are going to work together."

BARTLEY BATTLES BACK
Bournemouth midfielder Marvin Bartley is closing in on a return to fitness.
Bartley has been sidelined since March, but is expected to be able to take part in pre-season training within the next couple of weeks.
Cherries physio Steve Hard told the club's official website: "It was finally determined that Marvin had bilateral osteitus pubis, which is basically inflammation around the pubic bone."
"It was on both sides, but most of the symptoms were on the right. He had one side injected earlier this month and the other side injected last week. The symptoms have decreased and it will be a case of doing a few things with him in the coming week.
"He may miss the first few days of pre-season training as we need to be careful with him as he has been out for three months but, because the injections worked, we are optimistic that he should be involved after that."
