LEE BRADBURY

Posted on: Fri 19 Mar 2010

Lee Bradbury left Bournemouth this morning with his team mates for the long trip to Grimsby with plenty of good memories of the last time we visited Blundell Park.  Bradbury scored twice that night and also did his now worldwide hit boxing celebration!

Lee spoke to www.afcb.co.uk before he boarded the coach and said, "I have got good memories of the last time we played there, I got a couple of goals and we got a good point from the game.  It's always a tough place to go and it will be no exception tomorrow.  They had a bad run, but looked to have turned the corner a bit with a 3-0 win over Shrewsbury and a good point at Morecambe last week.  It's going to be a dangerous place to go to because they are fighting for their lives.  We know from our experiences last season being at the bottom that they will be working as hard as they can to get the three points

I'm surprised where they are in the table because they have some good players.  Confidence though is a massive factor and when you go on a run without winning games, it can snowball.  It looks though as they have come out of that and they are a threatening side.

It's a long trip and we have seven hours now to look forward to!  It's a nice pitch to play on so we're all looking forward to that and all the lads can't wait for the game.

We go in to the game on the back of a good point at Notts County, which I felt was a fair result in the end.  Scoring so late, it felt like a win and gives us confidence going in to the game and one we feel we can get something out of."
