Jason Pearce spoke to www.afcb.co.uk after yesterday's disappointing reverse at Dagenham.
"They are a tough team to play against. We knew that at the start of the game and felt we dealt with their threat before they got a very soft penalty. I still can't believe it was a penalty, because if that was one, then both teams should have had five each in the game.
Their strikers work hard and they play long balls all day and they chase them down and as a defender, that makes it a hard game and that makes us even more disappointed that we lost because of a poor decision. On the whole, we defended well, but they did get a few more chances late on as we pushed forward and left gaps.

Where we let ourselves down today was going forward because we weren't good enough. We needed to control the ball more because they will never let you get any rhythm if you let them.
We have to put it behind us and just concentrate on the two home games coming up. Home form will now be massive and after this set back, we have to get six points from the two games and nothing less."
