The Cherries take on Cheltenham Town tomorrow at Dean Court, keen to get their home form back on track. The side go in to the game on the back of two fantastic away wins at Crewe and Rotherham while Cheltenham have been inactive following their late postponement of their game against Darlington last Saturday.
The two sides met as recently as Boxing Day where the Robins unveiled Mark Yates as their new manager. His side responded well to him and although we came away with a 1-0 win, Cheltenham would have considered themselves unlucky not to have come away with a point. Since then, they have been unbeaten away from home, winning 2-0 at Dagenham and drawing at Bradford and Grimsby. They have only had one home game since, where they went down 4-1 against leaders Rochdale.
The Cherries have again got a threadbare squad to choose from, with Warren Cummings sitting out the last of his three match suspension. Marvin Bartley is still suffering from a sore calf and a decision will be made on him late in the day. A late decision will also be made on Steve Fletcher. With the big man playing on Saturday on Tuesday, and Notts County coming up this Tuesday, Eddie Howe knows how important it is to carefully assess his fitness. Sammy Igoe faces another week on the sidelines and Joe Partington is still suffering from a back problem. One piece of good news on the injury front is that Scott Guyett does now not need an operation, but he will still be out for a few weeks.
The referee for the game is Mr. D Sheldrake.
