DANNY HOLLANDS

Posted on: Thu 28 Jan 2010

Cherries midfielder Danny Hollands recently said he wanted to recapture his form, and he went a long way to proving that he is doing that with his performance on Saturday at Aldershot.  That game ended in a bitter defeat, but Danny is sure that the side can turn things round as they face two long trips, to Crewe on Saturday and Rotherham on Tuesday.

Danny told www.afcb.co.uk, "I'm just trying to get myself back playing to how I know I can.  I feel that I'm training well and hard but all I think about is the team and as a team, we want to get back to winning ways and I'm sure that as soon as we win a game, we can go on a good run.

You get phases in football when the chances and the goals don't come, and if you could press a button to put that right you would, but it happens to every team.  We are finding things a bit difficult at the moment and there is no one more frustrated than we we are a a group.  We are working hard on the training pitch and we are doing to everything to get back to the way we were playing.

At a time like this, we need everyone to stick with us and with that we can get a turning point.  There is no one working harder than all the lads to ensure that happens asap.  We have some big games coming up and we know we need points quickly.

We go in to the Crewe game having lost three in a row and that's the first time that's happened to us in a long time.  We have Crewe on Saturday and Rotherham on Tuesday and we know they are two massive games.  They are big points to play for and we are looking forward to the challenge.  There will be a turning point at some time, and we will give it our all and hopefully that turning point will come at Crewe.

We are confident that we can get six points from the next two games, and we will be doing everything we can to make that happen."
