Anton Robinson returned to training today as he looks to overcome a back injury and be available for Saturday's tough trip to in form Morecambe. The midfielder came off early on Saturday and has been working hard since to overcome a back injury.
Anton told www.afcb.co.uk. "I was devastated to come off last week, it was the first time I've missed what I really consider a whole game this season. I've been working with Steve Hard and he's been great and it's feeling a lot better than it did on Saturday, and hopefully I'll be ready for Morecambe.
I spoke to the chiropractor and Steve and they have put it down to a build up of games. Even when I was at Weymouth before I came to Bournemouth, I hadn't missed any games, so it's down to wear and tear and I may have pulled a muscle.
The only game I've missed since I joined Bournemouth was at Morecambe at the end of last season when I was rested, so it would be nice to go back there and play this time and get the three points! They are on a great run, but I believe that of we turn up and play, then we can beat any team in this league. It's a tough place to go to, we know that, but we just have to focus on our own game then if we can do that, I believe we can get the three points we want.
Our away form has been good and we are getting points from difficult places. It is difficult because I would say that 85% of our away games are overnight stays and that does make it hard, but being a south coast team, we are used to it and we have to make sure we keep preparing well and doing the right things and that is something we are doing well. We are a tight knit bunch and the team spirit here is the best I have ever known and that definitely shows on the pitch.
If we can keep picking up points away from home and win our home games, then we will be challenging for promotion, which is what we want.
