Cherries boss Eddie Howe was delighted to make progress in the FA Cup and was pleased to get a home draw in the Second Round.
He told www.afcb.co,uk; "I wanted a home draw and that's what we've got. It's not going to be easy because Notts County are a very good side, but any tie in the second round is going to be difficult whoever you play.
We deserve our place in the second round after a terrific performance on Saturday at Chesterfield. All the ingredients you need to win a game were in evidence. All the lads worked extremely hard from back to front. It was a poor start to go a goal down so early at a side who have such a formidable home record, but we showed great resilience and equalised pretty much straight away. From then on we controlled the game and full credit to the boys.
I knew they would come at us after the break, but they never really cut us open at all and we defended really well and it was nice to get the third goal to seal the win. Overall I was delighted and we can now look forward to the second round."
