Assistant manager Jason Tindall looks at how the team are preparing for Saturday's big match:
"We had a really good weeks training leading up to the Grimsby game and that showed. It was all very positive, the lads have been training extremely well and we need that again this week because performances can reflect that.
It was a big three points on Saturday, particularly with teams slipping us around us and it's now important to keep focussed and concentrate on the Rochdale game. That is going to be a very tough game because they are a very good side.
It does make a make difference not to have midweek games, particularly for us as we don't have a big squad. When you play on a Saturday and Tuesday, it takes a lot out of you physically and geographically, we're not the best placed, so away games can take more out of us because of the amount of travelling we have to do. With having games just on a Saturday, it can keep you fresher and you can monitor training and keep players fresh for a Saturday.
We may have a small squad, but you look at the starting eleven on what was on the bench on Saturday, and you wouldn't swap any of them. The important thing is to be keeping players fit and fresh, and by doing that, it will be a big benefit for us. All the lads on the bench can come on and have an impact and change games for us. I wasn't on the bench, so the only thing missing was my quality!!! We have to keep the players fit and that's going to be key.
Its important that we get something from Saturday as after that we have three long trips on consecutive Saturday's. It's not ideal for the lads to have three games like like on the trot, and it's not good for supporters, but it's the hand we've been dealt, so we just have to get on with it.
Every game will be hard, because there is no easy game in this division. We've seen this season that everyone can beat everyone and it's up to us to keep the consistency that we have shown to get us to where we are, and stay there."
