The Cherries Board are delighted with the fantastic response from supporters, who with only 12 days to go before the first home match of the season against Rotherham United on August 15, have topped the 2,000 mark with season tickets sales!

Cherries Director Steve Sly said, "It is an incredible show of support for Eddie and the team to have such an overwhelming response considering the current economic climate, to have that many people buying season tickets is a testament to the fantastic support that our club receives."

Talking to AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe, he expressed his delight at the support shown to the team, and highlighted just how important it is to have the backing of everyone, "As someone who used to watch from the terraces and having played at Dean Court, I know full well what a massive difference the supporters can make towards what we are trying to achieve. The support we received at the latter end of last season went a long way to securing our Football league Status and that sort of support again can only be for the good of the club. On behalf of all the players, I would like to thank everyone for their commitment in buying season tickets, each and every one of you have played a part in the coming season."
