CLUB SHOP OPEN

Posted on: Fri 12 Sep 2008

AFCB.co.uk is pleased to announce the club shop will be open from 11am this weekend. Fans will, for the first time this season be able to buy the current replica kit as well as other new merchandise.

Chief Executive Alastair Saverimutto is pleased with the move,

"We have been waiting to open the shop for some time now but have been in the hands of our suppliers. JD Sports have been working around the clock to ensure we have merchandise and kit available at the earliest opportunity and I am delighted to announce the shop will be open from tomorrow."

"All of our new stock is of the highest quality, which in turn has taken time to produce. We're delighted with the start to our partnership with JD and know that in time our shop will be up there with the best.

The Macclesfield Town tie will be the first home league game in charge for manager Jimmy Quinn and the shop's opening will coincide with Cherries fans first chance to buy the new replica kit. An initial delivery of junior and adult home kits will arrive Saturday morning and will be available in the shop, which opens at 11am.

More deliveries are expected in the coming weeks, with fans having the chance to buy the new replica away kit before next Saturday's clash away at Bradford.

Alastair Saverimutto continued, "One of the reasons for these delays is due JD Sports' stringent quality standards. We only wanted to open the shop when we had enough merchandise to make it worth opening. Everything is of the highest quality.

"Unfortunately as is the case in the ticket office, our credit card system is still inactive. We appreciate fans patience with this matter and are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue."
