Injury Update - Connell, Guyett, Lindfield & Garry

Cherries will be without four players for Saturday's trip to Notts County. The good news however is that three of the lads should return to training next week.

Alan Connell
Alan had a scan on Tuesday and saw a consultant on Wednesday regarding his injured left knee. It is not the knee he required an operation on during his first spell at the club although the scan did reveal a meniscus tear.

It is slightly worse than the same tear Danny Hollands suffered in pre-season and an operation next Tuesday will keep Connell out of action for around six weeks.

Scott Guyett
Scotty suffered a Grade One strain to his hamstring a couple of weeks ago and he has begun running. He should return to training early next week.

Craig Lindfield
The Liverpool loanee striker sustained the same injury as Guyett after Saturday's Port Vale defeat in which he scored his first goal for the club.

He will begin running next week with a view to having him available against Bradford away on September 20th.

Ryan Garry
Ryan had an ultrasound scan on his left groin at the start of the week and was told to completely rest it for seven days. He'll have a session with physio Steve Hard with a view to returning to training late next week.
