Promoting Away Support
Promoting Away Support - Cherries sign up to supporter initiative
As part of the Football League's aim to increase away supporter attendances over the course of the season, all Football League clubs are required to create two reciprocal partnerships with clubs within the same league as them. This season AFC Bournemouth will be entering into partnerships with Shrewsbury Town and Wycombe Wanderers. Both sets of games will involve the following agreement between AFC Bournemouth and the reciprocating clubs:
Promotion of the pair of fixtures.
Designation of a special away match.
Designated family block within the away section of the stadium.
5% sales commission on away tickets.
50 free tickets for members of the junior supporters club.
Half time penalty shoot out between 5 members of the junior supporters clubs.
Entertainment on and around the pitch by both clubs mascots.

In conjunction with The Football Leagues Away Supporter Reciprocal Agreement, October will see our two designated away games at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday 4th and Shrewsbury Town on Saturday 18th. The first game against Wycombe Wanderers allows us to make the short trip to Buckinghamshire to renew our friendly rivalry with Peter Taylor's team.
With the second game being two weeks later, when we get the opportunity to make our first visit to the New Meadow. Both games will have designated family blocks for Cherries supporters, as well as 50 free tickets for junior supporters. There will also be half time entertainment involving junior supporters and Cherry Bear!
All Cherries supporters will be allowed to bring flags balloons and drums to both fixtures to help aid the friendly atmosphere. Your support is vital to the team at already a crucial stage in the season, so get yourself to the ticket office and sort out your ticket and travel arrangements.
