Two New Signings - Injury to delay Connell debut

afcb.co.uk this afternoon officially learned of two permanent signings. After impressing in an initial loan period, goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has signed from Peterborough United.

Striker Alan Connell also returns to the club signing from Brentford to replace the departing Jo Kuffour. However Connell suffered a knee injury on his first day training with the squad. The extent of any damage won't be known until swelling has eased.
