Jalal & Garry Back In Contention - Meanwhile two defenders likely to miss out

Defenders Joel Ward and Scott Guyett are likely to be missing from the Cherries squad as the team travel to Port Vale on Saturday.

Ward has been nursing an ear infection since recovering from his groin strain and Guyett is still out of action having been substituted last week against Exeter.

Shwan Jalal and Ryan Garry didn't feature last week although have both come through training this week and are in contention for a recall.

Kevin Bond said, "Joel's ear infection has been affecting his balance. He's recovered from the groin problem so it's just a case of clearing up the ear drum."
