Bond Keen To Maintain Run - Gaffer focused on causing Exeter problems
Cherries Boss Kevin Bond says he'll be focusing more on what his team can do than stopping Exeter tomorrow as the two clubs both seek their first win of the season.
Bond's Bournemouth are unbeaten in nine league games while Exeter bring fine form that snatched a conference play-off place into the new season.
The Grecians have held their own so far in League Two and although Bond recognises the threat they'll pose, the focus is purely on his own team's strengths.
Bond said, "Exeter are capable of playing a number of ways and they've played well in the games they've had this season. They've got a lot going for them and they possess a huge amount of belief and they'll make it a really difficult game for us.
"But we're at home so we've got to focus on what we do well and try to win the three points and make life as difficult as we can for Exeter.
"We haven't been beaten for a long time in the League and we want to keep that going for as long as we can. We've got to build on that momentum and it'll make us more and more difficult to beat.
"We were ahead at Gillingham until the last minute without playing that well. Although Aldershot had chances we could have been a few goals up very early on and had things been different with the referee could easily have won the game.
"So we're doing ok and just have to keep plugging away and working as hard as we have been."
