Savi: "Delivery" - New CEO sets unprecedented targets

Chief Executive Alastair Saverimutto is confident that AFC Bournemouth can finally fill its commercial and football potential under the new ownership of Sport-6.

'Savi' is targetting new heights in commercial revenue to drive success both on and off the field. His focus is purely on delivery to the fans of AFC Bournemouth and putting an in frastructure in place to drive the club forward.

Speaking at yesterday's press conference Saverimutto said, "During this process I've been focused on one thing and that's the viability and the operational potential of AFC Bournemouth. There are restrictions in place, but we are dealing with these as we speak.

"My job is to deliver and from now on it's all about delivery. Every comment I make and press release we make will be based on fact and delivery. The potential coming through is first class and the plan I have in place is a three to five year strategy.

"It would be great for me to say we can get back up to League One next year, but reality tells me we have a business to stabilise and financial longevity to put in place and we'll be putting a team together to meet those objectives.

"The three to five year plan is based on absolute longevity for first team success and a business that can support the needs of a football team. We may have been relegated, but I'm targeting higher attendances, stronger Season Ticket sales and bigger commercial contracts.

"The plan is an embryonic from where we are now and we're aiming to reach Championship level in five years. The business has to drive sufficient revenues both on and off the field.

"The fans are going to be communicated to in every way possible as that's my style and that's what I do. I'll only communicate on delivery and the announcement next week on the new shirt sponsor will show what we're all about."
