Vokes Joins Wolves - Striker midlands bound
The Wolverhampton Wanderers have reported that Cherries striker Sam Vokes has joined the Championship outfit on a four year deal.
The fee is being described as undisclosed and Wolves Manager Mick McCarthy admitted that the Midlands team had been watching Sam for a number of months.
Vokes initially joined the club's Centre of Excellence scheme and graduated through to the Under 18s where six goals in his first six games gave him an opportunity in the first team. Since then he has never looked back.
The home grown striker was Cherries second highest goalscorer last season with twelve goals behind Jo Kuffour, who netted thirteen.
