Bond Praises Forde Spirit - Loanee goalkeeper in extended stay

Kevin Bond is delighted to extend the loan period of emergency goalkeeper David Forde. The Cardiff stopper was brought to the club on a seven day loan to play matches against Leeds United and Oldham last week.

The Cherries Manager saw enough to keep Forde at the club on an emergency basis and the keeper is set to make his home debut against Yeovil Town tomorrow.

Paying tribute to his parent club Cardiff City Bond said, "Cardiff have been excellent to us. He's come at absolutely no cost to us, they're paying for everything.

"As importantly, David wants to come down and get involved and he's joined in with the spirit of the club. He's in there amongst the lads and integrated really well.

"He's not just here for the ride and he's put his neck on the block as it's never easy for a goalkeeper to join a club in trouble. We needed a goalkeeper and we've got to be thankful that we've got him here."
