Youth Team Shine Without Their Stars - Under 18s gunning for 2nd place

Joe Roach's youth team won 3-1 against Yeovil at the weekend to move into third place in the Puma Youth Alliance South West Conference.

The team was missing key trio Ryan Pryce, Joe Partington and Josh McQuoid. They were all on first team duty with the current injury and loan situation giving the youth team members an excellent chance to prove themselves in the first team.

Goals from Rico Wilson, Carl Preston and Danny Reeve gave the Under 18s a 3-1 victory over their Somerset opponents.

Cherries: Thomas, Reeve (Annetts 75), Newton, Franks, Queree, Webb, Wilson (Burbidge 72), Finlay, Hutchings (Ings 69), Davidson, Preston.

Plymouth look to have the league sewn up, but with Cheltenham having played fourteen games there is everything to play for in the fight for second place.
