Cooper Out Of Southend Match - Immediate suspension for Shaun

Versatile Shaun Cooper will be suspended for Saturday's trip to Southend United. Playing in midfield against Doncaster Rovers this evening, Cooper received his marching orders for two bookable offences from referee Andy D'Urso.

Sendings off take immediate effect rather than the seven day rule for accumulating suspension through cautions.

Cherries Manager Kevin Bond commented, "It was difficult to see from where I was, but it was a major decision in the game.

"I've spoken to Shaun and asked what his account was, but dwelling on refereeing decisions or the decisions of players won't do me a whole lot of good. I don't wish to speak to the ref about it. It won't bring back any points we've lost so I won't dwell on it and we'll move on."
