Gowling Returns - Defender available for Brighton clash

Cherries defender Josh Gowling is available for Tuesday's match against Brighton having recovered from a calf injury.

The central defender returned to training last Friday, but won't be guaranteed a smooth passage into the starting XI given the form of Alex and Jason Pearce.

Shaun Cooper, who sustained a knock against Leyton Orient on Boxing Day, will have a late fitness test on his foot injury. The match is the last before six loanees come to the end of their current loan deals with the club.

Reading quartet Jem Karacan, James Henry, Alex Pearce and Scott Golbourne, along with Pompey's Jean Christophe and Leicester's Max Gradel are the players concerned.

Cherries are still without Neil Moss, Ryan Garry, Darren Anderton and Steve Foley. A more comprehensive injury update will be available tomorrow.
