No Break For Vokes
No Break For Vokes - Squad injury update
Sam Vokes has learned that he has not broken a rib as a result of Saturday's challenge from Neal Trotman. Vokes has suffered bruising around the area of contact and will have to see how it settles before resuming training.
Scott Golbourne was also taken off injured towards the end of Saturday's match, but he's suffered no lasting damage to knocks he took on the ankle.
Meanwhile Gareth Stewart should be ok to continue in goal against Millwall at the weekend. He dislocated his finger in the warm up prior to Oldham on Saturday and played through a painkilling injection. Stewart will rest for a couple of days and resume training on Thursday.
Fellow goalkeeper Neil Moss has sustained a medial ligament sprain on his right knee. Moss has a scan this week and could be out for up to a month.
Another player who could return for Saturday is midfielder Darren Anderton. The former England International has been running and could step up his training later this week.
Ryan Garry is making progress on his return from a broken shin. He's now started running on low impact surfaces as as the trampoline and crash mats.
Steven Foley is awaiting the results of his weight bearing scan while Russ Perrett has started running again. Jean Christophe is unlikely to be ready for first team football before his loan expires.
