The AFC Bournemouth Community Sports Trust's National Citizen Service participants attended the first team game against Colchester United on April 21st.
The game was their first experience of watching the AFC Bournemouth first team and also gave them the chance to go down pitch-side at half time and have a group photo taken.
The participants are set to have a fantastic summer taking part in outward bound activities whilst based at two week-long residential's and then delivering their own social action projects to benefit the local community.
The scheme itself is a coalition Government initiative and is being run by 15 Football League clubs up and down the country to give boys and girls leaving year 11 in 2012 the skills and life experience necessary to have success as they move towards university places and employment.
There are still 15 places available on the project - and it is completely free - so if you would like the chance to be a part of this ground breaking project which includes a graduation ceremony at the O2 Arena and an England game at Wembley Stadium then please contact Steve Cuss (Head of Community) on 07973893594 or by email at steve.cuss@afcb.co.uk.
