AFC BOURNEMOUTH 0 MORECAMBE 0
The Cherries were held tonight at a chilly Dean Court by a resolute Morecambe side.
Josh McQuoid made his first start of the season and Danny Hollands came back in to the side with Marvin Bartley dropping to the bench.
The Cherries dominated large parts of the game, but Morecambe proved to be formidable at the back.Just before half time though, Bournemouth came so close to the breakthrough when Michael Symes turned and sent in a sweet strike at goal, but his effort came back off the post.

The second half followed a similar vein, but Bournemouth had to be on their toes as the visitors looked dangerous on the break.Matt Tubbs came on for his home debut and looked lively, but there was no way through a packed defence.Morecambe offered little up front, but almost stole the game deep in to time added on when a Danny Carlton hit the top of the bar.
Neither side could make the breakthrough though and had to settle for a point. The Cherries still need one point to wipe out the points deficit, but the positives to take are a clean sheet and also the fact that Luton and Grimsby lost and Rotherham were held at Exeter.
