Swansea City 1-2 AFC Bournemouth - Six points from safety, twelve to play for
On Thursday after training Kevin Bond said none of the players were ready to throw in the towel. Eighty-nine minutes and one nil down at League leaders Swansea, the Cherries team showed just what their Manager meant.
Jo Kuffour had already smashed the bar when substitute Joe Partington turned in Warren Cummings' corner to level the scores and claim his first senior goal.
During injury time it wasn't the home side searching promotion stealing the three points. Instead it was Cherries, fighting for survival, keeping the improbable dream alive. Jo Kuffour hit in a typically lethal finish to stun the home crowd and claim the points.
