Goals in either half from Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny sunk Cherries at a wet and miserable Elland Road.

Cherries created a number of chances through an impressive display, but couldn't find a way past Leeds stopper Casper Ankergren.

Vokes and Gradel provided most of Bournemouth's threat, but after a mix-up to concede the first goal it was all uphill.

Leeds never looked totally secure in their lead until Kilkenny doubled the home side's advantage.
