Read Manager Kevin Bond's comments on last night's Cup exit where he singled out two players for praise in an otherwise disappointing evening.

Here's what Kevin had to say on the match:

"It was a difficult game for us. We needed to be resilient and we didn't really have the players available to us to create much of a threat. We needed to dig in and try to get an ugly win. It was important we didn't give anything cheap away and unfortunately we did.

"We had a go late on, but on the balance of play the result didn't flatter Bristol Rovers. I felt we tried to work for the breaks, but the goal gave them something to hang onto.

"I would never question that the players don't give it a go out there. We're just finding it difficult. We don't have anyone with electrifying pace who can open them up. We took a chance on Saturday with Lionel Ainsworth. He's only been training a day or so and he blew up so could only put him on the bench.

"On the plus side I thought Darren Anderton was magnificent. He was fantastic out there, but as a side we find it a problem getting after teams and into peoples faces when we need to up the tempo. I also though Neil Yong played really well and helped hold us together at the back."
