Caretaker boss Stuart Murdoch gives his thoughts on Saturday's 0-0 draw at Brentford. Here is what we had to say about the match.....

We're disappointed that we didn't get our flowing football going. We didn't seem to get that going until the last ten minutes, but these things happen and to get points away from home when we grafted is something we can take from the game.

I thought we defended ever so well in the first half and then we've taken it on later on in the game. When the ball is cleared off the line we thought perhaps it could be our day. I don't think we ever discussed going for the 0-0. It's not in my nature or Joe's. We said how could we win the game so who are we going to put on the pitch who might win us the game. That was the way we approached it.

We're looking forward to a free week. It's been a hectic time for both of us. Joe's got his youth work that he has been having to keep an eye on as well so we've not had a chance to actually sit down and talk to individual players so we can get to know them. Joe knows them far better than I do, I only ever talk to goalkeepers so I've got a lot of talking to do! The players, have been excellent and have taken on board anything that we've tried to do and the things that we have said."

We've got a good week on the training ground now that we're looking forward too. One or two of the boys now need to rest their legs because they've had to battle but you settle for a point away from home.
