Stuart Murdoch gave his thoughts on last night's draw against Brighton and paid tribute to the players professionalism and character to come from 2-1 down with ten men.

Here is what Stuart had to say.

"We were pleased with the lads tonight. We were disappointed with the ten minute spell after half time, but all things considered it was an interesting game with plenty to take from it. I've learned a lot tonight and I'm sure the lads have too.

"There were several changes of formation. When we went to three at the back we seemed to get more space and more time on the ball. We could have nicked it at the end through James Hayter from a magnificent Warren Cummings free-kick.

"You've got to, haven't you", Murdoch responded on the lads going for the win instead of defending in the closing stages. "They're a clever enough bunch of players and they've been schooled well by Sean O'Driscoll. They're very thoughtful, they want to create opportunities in games and they're not happy to sit back and let the opposition dictate the play."

"We've got enough experienced players out there to not let their heads drop. We've got a bubbly set of players out there. They're great to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed myself tonight."

"They've been very focused and we've tried not to bring in too many changes. That's been our mandate. Players are players. Sean said they'd have forgotten him by now.

"That isn't really the case because the man did a great job, but the players know they've got to be professional and get on with it and that's what they did tonight."
