- Sean's View On Orient Defeat
Here's what Cherries manager Sean O'Driscoll had to say about the away loss to Leyton Orient.
Some of the things we planned didn't quite work and we seemed to lose heart quite quick. At other times we were playing as though we were the best team in the league so we've got that Jekyll and Hyde in us in the same ninety minutes.
We stuck to our tasks when things weren't going well and showed great character. I'm pleased that we bounced back and scored two good goals, but it wasn't to be. When we got our noses in front you think it's going to be our day, but we've got to take what we can from this and move on.
The second goal was disappointing after we'd defended set pieces so well. Losing Lionel was a blow after we'd brought him on to create problems for some tired legs. He gets round one player, works his way into the box and then pulls his hamstring.
That made it difficult for the last five or six minutes as they had the wind behind them. They pushed us right back and unfortunately we couldn't hold on. Hamstrings are notoriously difficult to diagnose so we'll leave him in the hands of Steve Hard and see how it is tomorrow. It could be a couple of weeks, but it could be even longer than that.
