Stephen Cooke then had to come on very early and although he's a different type of player I thought he did as well as he could. We spoke about certain things at half time, but they might as well have stayed out there. Sometimes players have got to take responsibility themselves and what we asked them to do they didn't do. It was shambolic at times, but we've all got to hold our hands up and take the flak.

It was a difficult game for the two new lads to settle in to. Lionel is a threat, but you sometimes get a bit frustrated there's no end product, but he's only eighteen. I thought Leon led the line really well, but it was difficult for anyone to shine today given the overall performance. We never functioned as a team and that makes it difficult for everyone.
