- O'Kelly on a Big Three Points
Cherries assistant manager Richard O'Kelly spoke about a 'big three points' for Bournemouth and said he'd like to be there when the League start giving six points for a win!
O'Kelly joked, "In the proverbial 'six-pointer', though I'd like to be there when you get six points for a win, it was a very important victory and I was very pleased. To get a win again was fantastic, a different class."
For the first time in months Sean O'Driscoll had more or less a full squad to choose from and after it all came together against Yeovil O'Kelly credited the win to the hard work of the players.
He said, "I don't mean to keep coming out with the same rhetoric, but the players week in week out show great application and they've got just rewards for their efforts today. We scored at a time when we were on top.
"We created more chances than they did, our defending was very resolute and each man stood up to be counted.
"Yeovil are no mean opposition and Steve Fletcher gave us a presence out there. He always creates problems for the opposition and his goal rounded off the move of the match.
"They're a big three points because both sides are down there scrapping. It increases the gap between us and Yeovil and hopefully we can take this win into the next game against Barnsley."
