- Sean on Tranmere
Sean O'Driscoll gives his comments on the 0-0 draw at Tranmere.
I think we were extremely brave, as that is probably the biggest side we've played all season. Set plays were always going to be a problem but I think the back four coped well, and on the plus side never resorted to just booting the ball from back to front. We tried to play the ball out and I'm delighted with the clean sheet.
The chances they had were all from set plays. Jason McAteer put in that free kick to Chris Greenache and Gareth's made a fantastic save, so everyone played their part. We had a sneaking feeling that we could have nicked it at the end but they are a good side on a good run. I would have taken the point before the game but I'm even more pleased with the clean sheet, and that will make the journey home a little bit shorter.

What was pleasing was everybody took responsibility in difficult areas and tried to pass the ball. It's a tough nut to crack here, and to get a clean sheet , everybody put a shift in to defend.
Every point we gain this season will be precious, and this may be one we look back to at the end of the season and say 'that was a point that was well won.'
