Sean on Hartlepool
Sean O'Driscoll praised the performance of his team against Hartlepool and took the positives from the game above the final result.
"I thought we were unlucky to lose because I thought we were the better side. I have no complaints with the officials whatsoever."
"I thought we were brilliant. I didn't think there was an early storm from them. I thought we controlled the game especially the first half. They went ahead, maybe against the run of play. They are a big strong side and balls into the box are always a problem."
"I thought our football from then on was fantastic. They are throwing caution to the wind towards the end and put big Nelson up and stuck another striker on. It's difficult to know what to do for the boys as well as management. You just match them up, defend and hope that things drop for you."
"I thought we were in control. We always looked dangerous on the break and we were controlled in our possession even when we were under the cosh. A great deal of positives come out of the game and I think that nobody has come here this season and played as well as we have played. So we just have to take that forward."
"We have another game on Saturday and I don't care whether it is in the LDV, the FA Cup or the European Cup Final, it is another game. We have to prepare as we prepare for every other game. We're on a treadmill during the English season and we can't step off it. If you do, you will come crashing down with a bang."
