"We just felt that we were tired last week and we struggled on all the things that we worked on. That is going to happen from time to time, but when it happens we can't give goals away because we think we have got goals in us but the team that will be successful is the team that is going to manage when things don't go as well as you planned".

"I thought we were great today. We were organised and had a week to prepare, you almost got that inkling on Monday morning in training. We came off disappointed and tired against Barnsley and you wonder what you are going to get on Monday morning but they were right at it again. I was pleased that we carried it through."

"I am disappointed that we didn't score any more goals today. We created chances and people have taken responsibility to have a go and maybe on another day the goalkeeper wouldn't have been in the right place at the right time so many times. But credit to him that is what he is there for."

"Our football in the first half was excellent. We looked dangerous on the break. Big Steve Fletcher gave their defenders all sorts of problems all through the game as did Wade with his pace and the back four defended. We know we need to be good as a team. Physically, they are a big side so we had to use our brains a little bit and I thought we did that."

"You go one-nil up and think that we can kill it off in the first half but we never did. You will always wonder if you'll rue the missed chances. But I thought we started off bright in the second half and they put a lot of pressure on us. We coped with it as well as we could so I am extremely pleased."
