- Sean on 'satisfying' victory
Cherries boss Sean O'Driscoll has stated the Doncaster Rovers win gave him more satisfaction than the cup win over Blackburn Rovers last week.
After the 5-0 victory Sean said, "Bournemouth got a lot of publicity out of the midweek game, but this result was a better one for us. This gives me more satisfaction because we were back at 5am on Thursday morning and had very little time to prepare."
"We had a good start and built on it. I watched Doncaster beat a full strength Ipswich side in the week so it's no mean feat to beat them comprehensively."
"It makes a difference when you get players back. Wade has made a difference since his return and John Spicer has come in. We've struggled with the loss of Carl Fletcher, but in the last three games players have taken responsibility and have done so as a team."
Dani Rodrigues bagged his first goal of the season and James Hayter scored for the first time since Orient to take his season tally to seven. Sean added, "They worked their socks off on Wednesday night in a game of few chances."
"I had to bring them off early doors to give Derek and Alan a chance. Derek probably changed the way the game was going for us at the time so they were a bit fresher than the rest of the lads and it showed today."
The interview in its entirety will be available on Cherries World Mondaymorning. The highlights from the match can also available to view.
