Sean O'Driscoll praised his team's patience in the win against Notts County then revealed how a training session done by Neil Moss in the week helped him make a point-blank save at the death. Meanwhile Feeney and Broadhurst should both be ok for the Brighton trip.

The injuries weren't serious and Sean said, "Karl got a bit of concussion and he was complaining a bit of double vision so it was prudent to take him off and we had a centre-half on the bench. Warren has just gone over his ankle and it was the one he's damaged before. He felt he couldn't continue on it so hopefully they should both be fit for next week. If it was anybody else's ankle they may have tried to run it off, but because he's had problems with it before and nobody wanted to risk any further damage."

The manager stated how it was vital to pick up the three points after the work put in to get a draw the previous week. Sean said, "We were saying all week that it was going to be no good drawing at Plymouth if we didn't come back here and pick up three points today. The pitch was a bit of a pudding and we lost Warren early on so the lads found it hard work. The lads dug in and they've been in this situation before."

"They tried to do the right things at the right times and didn't let things effect them. It's not always what people think they should be doing, but there is no point in playing a way that doesn't suit us. From a coach's point of view they all deserve a lot of credit."

The win leaves Bournemouth in a mid-table position of eleventh going into the last few months of the season. Sean added, "At this stage of the season draws are no good to us. It's different away from home, but here we have to go for it. A point wouldn't have done us much more good than a defeat so the lads have to forget about losing or drawing and play without fear."

"James was a bit unlucky to be left out. We opted for a bit of extra pace in Wade, but he came on and put his chance away when it came. They had a great chance at the end, but they've found it difficult losing their top scorer and sometimes young heads panic in front of goal."

The win was secured when Neil Moss pulled off a point blank save at the end and Sean revealed how he'd been working on those sorts of chances in the week. He said, "Neil took the strikers this week for a bit of training from a keeper's perspective. He said afterwards that if the striker is watching the ball then the keeper can encroach and that's exactly what he did today in the closing stages. When the lad looked up Neil was on him and he made the save. That also helps the strikers as Warren tends to be the player who gets the one-on-ones with his pace and he tends to get his head down and blast it."
