Sean O'Driscoll thought his team were 'excellent' against the Division Two pacesetters Brighton. He said, "I thought we were excellent and I'm disappointed that we haven't scored more goals from a performance like that and make it more comfortable towards the end. Brighton are a hard team to beat and they're not used to it."
"I thought we started really well and kept the pressure on right throughout the game and I can't remember them having any real chances. I'm delighted with everyone and we've got to keep this going."
Speaking about the controlling of games he added, "Sometimes it doesn't come off and sometimes we need to go backwards to keep the ball. That can sometimes frustrate people, but that's the way we play and I thought today we chose the right moments to do the right things with the ball."
Sean is a manager never afraid to make changes and in explaining the ones made against Brighton he said, "Nobody is trying to stop Alan Connell's career, but I've got other strikers who are match-fit and at this minute in time those people come before him. The shape today was working well and it gave us a chance to slot him in for an hour."
"With six or seven minutes remaining we brought on Jason Tindall to help make sure we kept the three points, which is what we did and James Hayter is flexible as he ever is and slotted up front. Again the flexibility of the squad has shone through."
