Sean O'Driscoll said that both sides looked tired towards the end of the match and talked about how the preparations for an earlier kick-off and change to the routine affected that. Sean also said the two teams cancelled each other out and played in a similar fashion.

Sean said, "I thought the two teams cancelled each other out today. City are one of the favourites to go up and we've just come up a division and have less resources than Danny has so all in all I was pleased with the way we performed. We kept our composure when under pressure and played the way we always try to."

"Both teams played in a very similar fashion and we didn't camp in our half. When they've had possession there's no point in always chasing them as they are too good with the ball and they gave us the same respect. We can take more positives from the game than negatives in a game where there wasn't anything between the two sides."

No injuries for Sean to worry about this time, but two members of the squad were still missing and O'Driscoll added, "We've lost a striker to Northern Ireland who may have made a difference today and we've played with what we've got and the lads have been fantastic all season. Every one of our contract players has been involved this season and if we can keep up the level of performances shown we'll hold our own in this division."

The manager also had opinions on how the earlier kick-off affected things and Sean explained, "The noon kick-off was hard and I'm up in the stands watching fifteen minutes from the end and seeing twenty-two weary players out there. The routine changes for the players and I thought both teams struggled in that respect. We practiced it in the last week and told the players that at half past twelve when they usually eat they'd have another hour to play. It's a little point, but I thought it made a big difference today."
