- Sean pleased with effort and courage

Sean O'Driscoll was the first to admit that the Wrexham win didn't come with a grade A performance, but he praised the effort put in and the courage shown in the second half to do the right things and take control of the game.Sean said, "We've obviously played better than today, but the longer you go without three points the longer it plays on peoples minds, especially the supporters and the media so it's nice to get that one out the way."
"It's always difficult to come here especially with the winning run they have been on. We've always played quite well in these matches without having the rub of the green and perhaps we got that today, which we haven't had all season so far."
"I know they can play better, but I'm pleased with the effort. We don't need goals to settle us down and we played really well at the start. It's the first time we've been ahead this season and it panicked us a little to be honest. They're an honest bunch and they know themselves what they need to do and you just need to give them the courage to do that, which I thought was the case in the second half."
"As the second half progressed I thought we took more control of the game without really playing the way we can play. We had to show a different side to our game and Denis will be upset that Wrexham haven't got anything from the game and rightly so, but I don't think they'd begrudge us the three points."
As well as the first win of the season the Cherries kept a first clean sheet and Sean added, "The goals we've conceded this season have been given to teams so if Wrexham were going to get anything today we made sure they'd have to work for it."
"The fact that they didn't get one is because of a team effort with everybody from the forwards to Neil Moss has put in their shift today and will come out better for the experience. We'll spend Monday analysing what we could have done better, but for the moment we'll savour the three points."
