Sean O'Driscoll made yet more tactical changes against Swindon to help Cherries gain a point from the game. He praised Stephen Purches on his man-marking job on Sammy Igoe and gave credit to his team for sticking to what they believed was the right way to play when behind in the match.

Sean said, "I'm disappointed with the goals we let in, but the effort the lads showed was magnificent especially after the disappointment of playing so well against QPR and taking nothing from it. They stuck to what we believed was the right way to play to get a result when we went behind and that was great."

"In the two games we've played two completely different ways because we think it was the best way to play against the respective sides and we haven't really got what we deserved. We're disappointed, but you can't fault the player's effort and what they've tried to do."

"Swindon are arguably one of the better sides in this division and in Sammy Igoe they have a key part in that. There aren't many players in this division we'd decide to man mark, but we decided he was crucial to the way they play and Stephen did a fantastic job to keep him out of the game. Wherever you play James Hayter you can trust him. He knows what the game is about and he was also magnificent."

The match saw the surprise return of Shaun Maher and O'Driscoll was pleased that the Irish defender was able to step in at a moments notice after two challenged by Furlong on Saturday injured Cummings and Tindall. Sean added, "We were in Sunday morning to prepare for this game and we asked Shaun if he'd be prepared to play and he said yes and credit to him for doing that."

"He's got himself a goal and we'll see now how he reacts to playing his first ninety minutes. We had no other defenders left. Warren Cummings was pole-axed by Furlong on Saturday. Jason was pole-axed by the same player and we think this one might be a bit more serious."
