Sean O'Driscoll expressed his delight at Warren Feeney's 90th minute winner as it meant the lads wouldn't have to go through a potential further thirty minutes ahead of the FA cup tie this weekend. O'Driscoll has been very careful with his selections over the past few weeks and took some time to explain the situations of Young, Fletch and Tindall; all of whom could play a bigger role on Saturday.

Sean O'DriscollO'Driscoll said, "We had ninety percent of the ball and they made it very difficult for us by bringing everyone back. We were delighted to score with perhaps the last kick of the game as extra time with a squad of 15/16 players and the Doncaster game coming up is something we don't need."

"It's difficult for any team to break down another that's putting men behind the ball. There's no space, the crowd get frustrated and that reacts on the players. I thought in the first half we worked some good opportunities, but probably didn't take enough responsibility to put the ball in the danger area. I didn't think they could have done any more in the second half than what they did."

The game saw Warren Feeney and Derek Holmes play a full ninety minutes since returning from injury and O'Driscoll added, "Warren's popped up with a goal and he can get frustrated with himself when he runs offside and slips over or misses chances. He's stuck at it though and got his just rewards. Warren and Derek needed games and we haven't got a reserve game until next Wednesday so this was a great game for them to play in."

Steve Fletcher and Neil Young were both named as substitutes and Jason Tindall, who is now back in training, wasn't risked at all. Each of these players could be more involved on Saturday and Sean said, "Steve and Neil have both had serious knee injuries and two games in four days is something we always have to be wary of. We've got a lot of games to play and it's pointless risking them for the LDV trophy when we've got to look at the bigger picture."

"Jason's trained this week for the first time so to put him in tonight would have been too big a risk having been left out for five weeks although it may have come to that. Hopefully he can now have one or two more training sessions before Saturday and if there's no reaction to his knee, he could be included in the squad."
