Sean O'Driscoll described the match against York as a typical 1-0 victory whereby the opposition came to make a nuisance of themselves. He paid tribute to his team and the crowd for keeping the patience throughout the game and always thought the team had a goal in them. Sixteen chances at goal with eight on target eventually paid dividends with Steve Fletcher netting the winner.

Sean O'DriscollO'Driscoll said, "It was a typical 1-0 home victory where the opposition came to make it really difficult for us and I thought they handled their frustrations well. We'd have liked to have scored a little bit earlier and that would have made them come out a bit, but I think we're going to get more games like this. Teams aren't going to come here to lie down and die and the same game last year we would probably have played a lot better, but still lost."

The first half was all Bournemouth in terms of possession and on the shot count and O'Driscoll went on to describe the mood at half time and the options that were open to him. He said, "They've come in at half time determined not to get beaten and we always think we have a goal in us. We had Warren [Feeney] and Garreth O'Connor on the bench who can change games for us and young Liam being a left sided central defender enabled us to go three at the back and throw on another forward."

"We're on a good run at the moment so I would have been disappointed had they not kept creating chances. Little things seem to make a big difference. Attacking the North stand is one with the crowd and that's proved vital in a lot of games this season."

Steve Fletcher has now featured in five games this season and has two goals in two starts. O'Driscoll explained what he added to the side and how a worthwhile gamble helped to win the match. He said, "I was very wary of playing Fletch for a full game and he thought it was him coming off when the third sub was done. He looked a threat and we wanted to win it so we took the chance and it paid dividends."

"He sometimes makes us go a little bit route-one, although that's not always a bad thing at times during a game. He gives us strength in both boxes and he's a handful for defenders. There are things he needs to work on, but he's been out a long time and that will come."
