O'Driscoll, "At the end of the day you get judged on results"

Cherries manager Sean O'Driscoll praised the performance of his team against Bury and stated that Bournemouth controlled the game for the duration even when down to ten men. He went on to say how "two errors" cost the match and that despite the performance it is the results he's judged on.
Sean said, "I thought for the ninety minutes we were more composed and the better unit, but at the end of the day they've scored two goals and we've scored one and you're judged on results. Their keeper has not had a save to make and two errors on our part have been punished which is our luck at the moment."
"They changed their system after twenty minutes because we bombarded them. Our passing, defending and attacking were causing them problems, but one mistake on half time has let them in. We've now had two games in which we've dominated and got nothing out of. That's disappointing, but there are obviously a lot of positives and we've got to concentrate on them."
Seven of the ten points gained so far this season have been away from home, but the manager insisted that nothing changes in the approach when playing away and as far as the team is concerned there is little more he can improve. O'Driscoll said, "There's no difference in the attitude away from home."
"I can improve things with money to spend such as a few grand to put another keeper on the bench and to get the embargo off me. These are caused by the historical debts of the football club and are out of my control. As far as the side is concerned, the spirit is there; they play great football and want to win games."
O'Driscoll also praised his sides ability to control the game when a man down and the chances to equalise did come about following O'Connor's goal. He said, "People think we're just going to turn up and it turn it on, but it's not like that."
"The situation is the same in any division and even Portsmouth were struggling despite being unbeaten earlier today. We started well and controlled the game and even did so when down to ten men for fifty minutes of the match. There aren't many sides in this division that would be able to do that and certainly if they went down to ten men there was no way they were going to control the game."
